Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low-to-moderate level. Target region NOAA 13451 appears to have been stable in size since the last message and was classified as a beta-gamma/E-type, but its proximity to the limb hampers accurate classification. This region continued to be the most flare-productive region on disk, being the source of several C-class flares including the largest magnitude event in the period - a C7.2 on 11-Oct-2023 at 09:29 UT. Additional C-class flares are expected in the following 24-hour period with a small chance for another low M-class flare before NOAA 13451 rotates fully over the North West limb.
The position of NOAA 13451 on 11-Oct-2023 at 18:00 UT is:
N17W85 , ( 915", 271" )
