MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The visible solar disk is spotless. The tiny Cycle 25 target plage continues in decay phase. The target will switch to a large filament/prominence system rotating over the northwestern limb in the northern polar zone. The filament/prominence is currently quiescent.
The approximate position of the target on January 21 at 08:15 UT is: N47W64 (Solar X = 598", Solar Y = 737")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
