Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at an intermediate level since the last message. NOAA 13511 produced one further C-class flare as it transited the southwest limb. NOAA 13514 has shown dynamic sunspot behaviour over the last 24 hours and has produced several C-class flares, including a C9.1 at 03:27 UT today. At this time we are ending the Major Flare Watch campaign. The target region will switch to NOAA 13514 for the next 24 hours. Further C-class activity likely, with a chance for an isolated M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 13514 on 12-Dec-2023 at 12:30 UT is:
N06W15, (251", 110")
