Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity remains low. NOAA 12003 appears to have steadied in its decay phase over the past 24 hours. This region has remained classed as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group, although its proximity to the North West limb makes such determination difficult. NOAA 12003 was the source of the largest flare since the last email, a C7.3 flare on 16-Mar-2014 at 06:37 UT. Further C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours until 12003 rotates fully beyond the limb, with a chance for an isolated low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12003 on 16-Mar-2014 at 22:30 UT is:
N05W90, ( 960", 83" )
