Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was very low since the last message. Target region NOAA 2718 was the source of an A8.9 event at 08/16/09:18 UT. 2718 has decayed within its trailing portion. Another minor event is possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2718 on August 16 at 18:00 UT is: S07E28 (Solar X = -443", Solar Y = -213")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
