Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a moderate level with events from both NOAA 13380 and NOAA 13390 since the last message. Despite its small sunspot area NOAA 13390 was the source of an M1.7 flare at 08:42 UT today. It retains its beta/C-type configuration and shall continue as the target region with further C- and low M-level activity possible over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13390 on 31-Jul-2023 at 07:30 UT is:
S19E42, ( -599", -372" )
