Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a moderate level. Two low M-class flares, an M1.9 at 02:02 UT and M1.2 at 02:23 UT today, were produced by NOAA 13852. 13852 retains a beta-gamma/D-type configuration but increases in the spot area and number of spots. Today the target will switch to this region. If possible, please also include NOAA 13854 (S05W22, beta-gamma/E-type) in the field of view. Yesterday's target NOAA 13848 has almost rotated beyond the west limb. Additional low M-class activity is probable in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13852 on October 15 at 07:30 UT is:
S10W27 (431", -252")
