Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at low levels. The target region, NOAA 11959, was the source of a C1.5 flare at 23:36 UT yesterday. The region has been downgraded to a beta configuration but has undergone some flux emergence in its trailing spot. Chance for additional isolated C-level events.
The position of NOAA 11959 on 25-Jan-2014 at 08:35 UT is:
S23W10, ( 156", -295" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
