Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity was at a moderate level. NOAA 13848 produced an M3.4 flare at 00:04 UT and an M1.8 flare at 13:22 UT today plus seven C-class flares when it was rotating over the west limb. This region retains a beta-gamma/D-type configuration and will be today's target. Yesterday's target NOAA 13854 increases in the sunspot area and number of spots and has been designated as a beta-gamma/E-type configuration. However, it only produced three ~C2 flares since the last message. Additional low M-class activity is likely from the limb target 13848 before it rotates beyond the west limb.
The position of NOAA 13848 on October 14 at 15:30 UT is:
N13W88 (936", 211")
