Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 13421 has shown signs of decay since the last message, its leading polarity spots fragmenting somewhat. Despite this, 13241 has remained as a beta/D-type sunspot group classification. This region has continued to produce C-class activity, including the largest magnitude event in the period - a C3.5 flare on 6-Sep-2023 at 20:43 UT. More C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a small chance for an isolated low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 13421 on 7-Sep-2023 at 18:00 UT is:
N14W36 , ( 544", 135" )
