Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased for the past 24 hours. The largest event since the last message was an M1.0 flare at 05:52 UT today, produced by the target region NOAA 13599. 13599 also produced six C-class flares (including a C6.2) and four high B-class flares during the period. This region was designated as a beta/C-type configuration as it is almost rotating over the west limb. We will watch this region for the next 24 hours. Additional C-class activities are expected in the following 24- hour period.
The position of NOAA 13599 on March 14 at 08:30 UT is:
S14W86 (933", -223")
