Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low level since the last message. A small number of C-class flares were produced, the largest being a partially occulted C4.4 from a currently unnumbered active region over the southeast limb at 01:55 UT today. NOAA 13590 continues to show an increase in both size and complexity, and is currently classified as a beta-gamma type region with a sunspot area of 760 μh. NOAA 13590 will continue to be the target region for the next 24 hours with a chance of further C-class activity or greater.
The position of NOAA 13590 on 21-Feb-2024 at 12:30 UT is:
N17E44, (-646",364")
