Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be low. The target region NOAA 12539 was the source of a C2.5 (at 23:30 UT on May 1) and several B- class events in the past 24 hours. 12539 has been classified as a beta/E-type configuration with increasing in sunspot area and number of spots. Another region, NOAA 12540 (N21E29), produced the largest event, a C3.5 at 08:32 UT on May 2 associated with a narrow CME. If possible, also include 12540 within the field-of-view. Additional C-class activities are possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12539 on May 2 at 15:43 UT is:
N16E13 (Solar X = -206", Solar Y = 324")
