Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained quiet for the past 24 hours despite the five numbered active regions on disk. All of these regions appear to be decaying, although a small, unnumbered EFR is emerging at the meridian in the northern hemisphere. If it continues to grow it may produce some mid-size flares. For now, we will continue to observe NOAA 11236 as it approaches the west limb.
The position of NOAA 11236 on 24-Jun-2011 at 15:30 UT is:
N16W55 ( 744", 241" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
