Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased slightly since the last message. Two B-class flares, a B9.7 at 1/18/07:28 UT, and a B4.0 at 1/18/08:08 UT, were produced by the target region NOAA 12696. 12696 was classified as a beta/B-type sunspot group. It shows some positive flux emergence in the negative polarity spots. Additional low B-class events are possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12696 on January 18 at 08:30 UT is: S13W07 (116", -139")
