Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has reached an intermediate level. The largest event since the last message was an M1.8 flare at 09:23 UT today from the target region NOAA 13435 (N09E52, beta/C-type). 13435 also produced another M1.1 plus two low-C flares in the period. Today the target shall still be this region. Please note that NOAA 13436 (N19W40, beta/D-type) and 13429 (N12W54, beta/C-type) also produced many low- and mid-C flares during the period. Additional C-class flares are expected in the following 24-hour period, with a good chance for further low M-class flares.
The position of NOAA 13435 on 19-Sep-2023 at 07:30 UT is:
N09E52 ( -745" , 76")
