Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. The largest event since the last message was an M2.0 flare produced by the leading spots of the limb target region (S20E70). This region also produced an M1.1 flare during the period. The Major Flare Watch will continue with this South East limb region. Please note that NOAA 13807 (S16W38, beta-gamma/ E-type) was the source of an M1.5 flare and three mid-C-class flares in the period. Further C- and low-M-class flares are expected in the next 24-48 hours, with a chance of >=M5 events.
The approximate position of the target region on 2-Sep-2024 at 11:30 UT is:
S20E70, ( -840", -361" )
