Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. Target region NOAA 13423 has been stable in sunspot area and number of spots since the last message, but was confirmed as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group at the start of the UT day. This region has only produced one C-class flare in the period, while NOAA regions 13429 (a beta/C-type) was the source of an M1.4 flare on 11-Sep-2023 at 01:08 UT and 13431 (a beta/D-type) produced two M1.1 flares on 11-Sep-2023 at 03:58 UT and 14:38 UT. The target switches to NOAA 13431 which appears to have a more mixed polarity configuration. C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a good chance for additional low-to-mid M-class flares.
The position of NOAA 13431 on 11-Sep-2023 at 22:00 UT is:
S08E48 , ( -701", -212" )
