Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at very low levels. The target region in the northeast quadrant continues to produce small fluctuations in the GOES short-wavelength channel. The region is compact and spotless but is bright in EUV and X-ray emission. Any significant change in activity over the next 24 hours is unlikely.
The approximate position of the target region on 19-Dec-2019 at 14:30 UT is:
N22E65, ( -820", 375" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
