Dear Collaborators,
Solar X-ray flux has remained at the low C-level since the last message with a few C2 flares from the region currently behind the southeast limb. NOAA 13180 has remained quiescent but is now classified as a beta-gamma region as it approaches the central meridian. NOAA 13180 shall continue as the target region for a further 24 hours with a chance of isolated, intermediate level events.
The position of NOAA 13180 on 4-Jan-2023 at 12:30 UT is:
N18E10, ( -161", 356" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
