Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is at a moderate level. Target region NOAA 13429 has evolved slightly since the last message, reported as having decreased in magnetic classification to be a beta/E-type sunspot group at the start of the UT day. However, 13429 appears to now have a small delta configuration in its intermediate spots. NOAA 13429 produced the vast majority of flare activity in the period with being the source of many C-class flares and the only M-class flares - an M1.9 and an M2.5 on 14-Sep-2023 at 19:23 UT and 21:17 UT, respectively. Further C-class flares are expected over the next 24 hours, with a good chance for more low M-class activity.
The position of NOAA 13429 on 15-Sep-2023 at 18:00 UT is:
N10W05 , ( 82", 47" )
