Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is very low. The most recent reportable event was an A9.3 at 08/14/12:43 UT produced by target region 2718. 2718 is mostly unchanged maintaining a small B-type/beta sunspot group. A B-class event is possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2718 on August 15 at 16:00 UT is: S07E43 (Solar X = -643", Solar Y = -195")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
