Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low-to-moderate level. Target region NOAA 13576 has now rotated over the South West limb and was still the most flare-productive region in the period, being the source of multiple high C-class flares and an M3.0 on 16-Feb-2024 at 21:57 UT. The only other region that was the source of flaring activity was NOAA 13583 (a beta/F-type) that produced a C5.2 on 17-Feb-2024 at 05:44 UT. NOAA 13583 becomes the new target. More mid-to-high C-class activity is expected over the following 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 13583 on 17-Feb-2024 at 16:30 UT is:
N09W50 , ( 736" , 225" )
