MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1208 continues to decay as it approaches west limb passage. The target will switch to the twin beta regions located in in the southwest (NOAA 1214). 1214 was the source of a few B-class events since the last message. No significant solar flare activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1214 on May 17 at 15:30 UT is: S24W19 (Solar X = 283", Solar Y = -352")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
