Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity was at a moderate level. An M1.5 flare was produced by the target region NOAA 12929 at 01/18/17:01 UT. In addition, a C5.7 flare was produced by the neighboring region NOAA 12930 (N21W62, with a beta/C-type sunspot group). The target 12929 has decayed to a beta/D-type configuration. If possible, please also include 12930 in your field of view. B- and C-class activities are expected with a slight chance for another low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12929 on January 19 at 04:30 UT is:
N07W61 (847", 159")
