Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is at an extremely low level. Target region NOAA 2718 is significantly decaying especially within its trailing portion and was quiescent during the past 24 hour period. There is only a slight chance of a minor event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2718 on August 17 at 12:40 UT is: S08E19 (Solar X =-306", Solar Y = -235")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
