MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at a low level. The background x-ray flux is currently B3.0. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C1.8 at 09/19/08:17 UT. It's source appeared to be a new region located near the location of old NOAA 1834. Target region NOAA 1846 is mostly unchanged and quiescent. The target will switch from 1846 to the new region on the northeastern limb. B-class events probable with the chance of another C-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on Sept. 19 at 11:30 UT is: N10E89 (Solar X = -941", Solar Y = 163")
