Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low level since the last message. Most low-C flares came from NOAAs 14099 and 14100. NOAA 14099 (beta/D-type, S13E34) was the source of five ~C1-C2 flares. NOAA 14100 produced three ones, with the largest being a C2.1 at 01:18 UT today. This region has emerged new sunspots and has been classified as a beta/E-type magnetic configuration. Today we shall end the Major Flare Watch campaign, and the default target shall switch to NOAA 14100, due to its higher magnetic complexity. Yesterday’s target region has already rotated beyond the west limb. More C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
