Dear Collaborators,
NOAA 13514 has now passed beyond the northwest limb. Several flares were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being an occulted M1.1 at 20:08 UT yesterday attributed to NOAA 13520 at the northwest limb. A region of significant flux is now visible at the northeast limb about NOAA 13526 and a number of flares have been produced in this region since the last message. At this time we are ending the Major Flare Watch campaign and switching the target region to the northeast limb in proximity to NOAA 13526 for the next 24 hours. Further C-class activity is expected.
The position of NOAA 13526 on 18-Dec-2023 at 12:30 UT is:
N15E62, (-832", 262")
