Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at a low-to-moderate level since the last message. NOAA 13654 produced several flares, including an M9.5 at 23:23 UT yesterday. This region has been reclassified as a beta-delta type region with an area of 550 μh. At this time, we are implementing a Major Flare Watch with NOAA 13654 as the target region. Additional
M5 activity is possible over the next 24-48 hours as this region
begins its transit of the southwest limb.
The position of NOAA 13654 on 01-May-2024 at 11:30 UT is:
S07W70, (889",-92")
