Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 13599 grew slightly in number of sunspots and spot area since the last message, including developing polarity mixing of its interior spots to now be classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group (making it the most magnetically complex region). NOAA 13599 has been retrospectively designated as the source of a C1.5 flare in the period 48-24 hours ago (on 5-Mar-2024 at 03:58 UT) but has remained flare-quiet since. Additional C-class flares are expected over the following 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 13599 on 6-Mar-2024 at 12:30 UT is:
S13E18 , ( -294", -103" )
