Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low-to-moderate. Target NOAA 13190 continued its slow decrease in total sunspot area after the last message, but has now been confirmed as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group. Despite this overall decay, the delta spot in NOAA 13190 grew in area during the period and 13190 was the source of the largest magnitude flare - an M1.1 on 22-Jan-2023 at 12:12 UT. More C-class flares are expected in the following 24-hour period, with a good chance for another M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 13190 on 22-Jan-2023 at 16:30 UT is:
S15W40 , ( 608", -186" )
