Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a moderate level. The largest event since the last message was an M1.9 flare at 09/09/05:40 UT, which should be from/near the target region NOAA 13808. 13808 together with 13806 (S08W90, beta/C-type) produced a series of (five) low M-class flares when they were rotating over the west limb. We will watch 13808 (plus 13806) for a further/final 24 hours, whose loops are still visible above the limb. Please note that NOAA 13811 (S10W45) also produced two ~M1 flares during the period and had a beta-gamma/ D-type sunspot group. Further low M-class activities are very likely in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13808 on September 9 at 15:30 UT is:
S09W81 (929", -166")
