MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. Target region NOAA 1850 is slowly decaying - its sunspot group is now classified a magnetically simple D-type/beta. All regions on the visible solar disk are stable. No significant flare events expected anytime soon.
The position of NOAA 1850 on Sept. 28 at 15:30 UT is: N10W39 (Solar X =596", Solar Y = 078")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
