Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at moderate levels since the last message. The target region NOAA 13712 produced two M1.6 flares today (at 07:54 and 10:42 UT, with the largest magnitude) and more than ten C-class flares. Note that another region NOAA 13711 (S11W54, alpha/D-type) also produced an M1.4 flare at 19:57 UT today. The target NOAA 13712 maintains a beta-gamma-delta/E-type configuration and continues showing new magnetic flux emergence. The Major Flare Watch campaign will continue, with M-class activities expected and a good chance of a >M5 flare in the next few days.
The position of NOAA 13712 on June 17 at 19:30 UT is:
S26W10 (147", -435")
