Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a high-to-moderate level. The target North West limb-crossing location of NOAA region 12994 was the source of an X1.1 flare on 30-Apr-2022 13:37 UT, only shortly after yesterday's message was issued. This region also subsequently produced another M1.9 flare as NOAA 12994 rotated further over the limb. The target will continue as the limb-crossing location of NOAA 12994 for a final 24 hours due to the potential for another large-magnitude flare being foot-point occulted by the limb. Further C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for another M-class flare.
The approximate position of this region on 1-May-2022 at 17:30 UT is:
N16E90 , ( 915", 262" )
