Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity remains moderate due to an M3.6 flare at 07:28 UT today from NOAA 13751 (beta-gamma-delta/E-type, S08W63). This region continues to reduce in sunspot area and number as it transits towards the South West limb. The target region NOAA 13762 retains a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group, with a significant emergence of negative magnetic fluxes in its intermediate portion. 13762 should continue as the target region. Further C-class activities are expected with an additional low-M flare possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13762 at 11:30 UT on 24-Jul-2024 is:
S12E17 (-271", -276")
