MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2866 (D-type/beta) continues in growth phase displaying bright H-alpha plage and increased its spot area and count but was not the source of any flare activity since the last message. NOAA regions 2863, 2864, 2865 and 2888 produced minor B-class events in the past 24 hours. B-class events likely with a C-class event possible if 2866 continues to develop in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2866 on September 06 at 14:00 UT is: S17E40 (Solar X = -587", Solar Y = -365")
