MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is increasing. A region located just behind the NE limb was the source of two C-class events with associated CMEs. This active region was also the source of a large CME on January 13. The largest C-class event was a C1.6 at 01/14/03:30 UT. Another C-class event is possible today.
The approximate position of the target on January 14 at 15:00 UT is: N23E88 (Solar X = -898", Solar Y = 383")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
