MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The target plage is significantly decaying. The region developed a micropore yesterday that only had a short lifetime. The target will switch to a Cycle 24 region that emerged since the last message. The new EFR has a small B-type/beta sunspot group. No noteworthy solar flare activity expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the EFR on January 24 at 13:30 UT is: N03E37 (Solar X = -588", Solar Y = 124")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
