Dear Collaborators,
Today we will implement Max Millennium coordinated observing
plan #003 (Region Likely To Produce A Major Flare). The target
region NOAA 12975 produced an X1.3 flare at 03/30/17:21 UT
and also numerous C-class flares. 12975 remains its beta-
gamma-delta/D-type configuration, with slightly increasing in the
sunspot area. It continues to show mixed polarities in its intimidate
portion. Another major (>=M5) flare is likely in the next few days.

Solar activity remains at a moderate level since the last message.
The target region NOAA 12975 was the source of two ~M1 flares
(an M1.0 at 03/29/09:17 UT and an M1.6 at 03/29/21:43 UT) and
also numerous C-class flares. Another two regions, NOAA 12978
(S20E54) and 12976 (N14W05), also produced a few C-class flares
during this period. 12975 has been classified as a beta-gamma-delta/
D-type region, increasing the sunspot area and number of spots.
It continues to emerge new magnetic fluxes in its intermediate portion.
Additional low M-class flares remain likely and further C-class activities
are expected in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has been at a moderate level since the last message.
Six low M-class flares were emergent from NOAA 12975, the largest
one being an M4.0 at 03/28/10:58 UT. 12975 has been classified as
a beta-gamma/D-type region, significantly increasing in its sunspot
area. It continues to emerge new magnetic flux in its leading portion.
Today we will watch this region. Yesterday's target NOAA 12978 was
designated as a beta/E-type region and only produced two C-class
flares during the period. Additional M-class flares are probable and
more C-class flares are expected in the following 24 hours.

Solar activity continues at a low level. The target region has been
numbered as NOAA 12978 with an alpha/H-type configuration. It
was the source of a few low C-class flares (including the largest one,
a C4.1 at 03/27/23:54 UT). Another region NOAA 12975 (beta/C-type)
also produced two ~C1 flares during the period. The leading polarity
of the target region is emerging magnetic fluxes. Additional C-class
activities are expected in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. The target region has begun to
rotate onto the visible disk, showing a reasonably-sized leading
polarity spot with potentially an additional leading polarity spot
slightly behind and to the South. Of the numbered spot regions on
the visible disk, only NOAA 12975 produced a flare since the last
message (and that was a B9.7), while the target region continued
producing C-class activity (three in total, including the largest
of the period in a C2.4 on 27-Mar-2022 at 10:37 UT). More C-class
activity is expected over the following 24-hour period.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 12976 has not
evolved significantly since the last message and is now classified
as a beta/E-type sunspot group. None of the sunspot regions on the
visible disk have produced flares since the last message, while a
region currently beyond the South East limb was responsible for a
B8.5 and a C2.3 on 26-Mar-2022 at 14:14 and 15:81 UT, respectively.
The target changes to this South East limb region. C-class flares
are probable in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. The target region has now
been separately numbered as NOAA 12976 and is confirmed as a beta/
D-type sunspot group. This region has continued to produce B-class
flares and a C2.6 on 25-Mar-2022 at 02:27 UT. The largest flare of
the period instead came from NOAA 12974 - a M1.4 on 25-Mar-2022 at
05:02 UT, with a corresponding CME. However, the target will stay
with NOAA 12976 due to 12975 being in an advanced stage of decay.
Additional C-class flares are expected over the following 24-hour
period.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. The target region has now rotated onto
the visible disk and displays leading and trailing sunspots with mature
penumbrae on each. Rather than being independently numbered, these large
sunspots have been grouped together under the designation of NOAA 12975
along with the smaller sunspots that rotated on disk ahead of them. NOAA
12975 has been the source of eight C-class flares since the last message,
including the largest flare of the period (a C8.1 on 24-Mar-2022 at 01:42
UT), but on inspection all of these originate from the trailing, larger
pair of sunspots. The target region focuses on these more Eastern spots
in NOAA 12975. Further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. The target region has now rotated onto
the visible disk and, although it shows leading and trailing sunspots both
with penumbrae (potentially a beta/D-type classification), it has remained
unnumbered at the beginning of the UT day. An additional region containing
larger sunspots is rotating over the North East limb just slightly behind
yesterday's target region. Several of the flares associated to yesterday's
target region may have actually come from the new limb-crossing region and
it has clearly produced several C-class flares since the last message. The
target region switches to the newer (and larger) spot region rotating over
the North East limb. Further C-class flaring is expected over the following
24-hour period.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. The target region has now rotated
fully onto the visible disk and shows some small sunspots, but was
unnumbered at the start of the UT day. This region appears to have a
beta/C-type sunspot group classification and has continued to be the
source of B-class flares and a C1.2 flare on 22-Mar-2022 at 10:57 UT.
However, the largest flare of the period was a C7.0 on 22-Mar-2022 at
12:15 UT from a new small sunspot region rotating over the North East
limb (that also produced a C1.0 on 22-Mar-2022 at 04:07 UT). The MMCO
target region switches to the North East limb region, for at least 24
hours until its longitudinal extent and magnetic configuration is
better observed. Additional C-class activity is probable in the next
24 hours.
