Solar activity continues to be very low since the last message.
Several high-B to low-C class events were reported in the last 24
hours. The largest was a C1.6 event at 10:13 UT today from the
Northern edge of NOAA 14267. Others are from the target region
(a plage in the North of 14267) and NOAA 14256, both having
produced 2 flares.
In the next 24 hours, we will continue to observe the plage region
extending in the North of NOAA 14267, considering the brightness
and the size in the EUV wavelength.
The position of the target on 25-October-2025 at 15:30 UT is:
N07E44 (-671", 59").

Solar activity has been low since the last message. The visible side
of the solar disk looks stale in these couple of days. The largest
event during the period was an isolated C2.9 flare at 2:41 UT today
(10/24) from NOAA 14256 in the Southwest quadrant.
Yesterday's target, the plage region located at the North of NOAA
14267 continues to produce several low-C class flares in the past
24 hours. Today we will continue to observe this unnumbered plage
region, expecting additional low-C class events.

Solar activity has reduced to a low level since the last message.
Several high-B to low-C class flares were reported from the region
rotated from the Northeast limb in the recent 24 hours, with the
largest being a C3.2 at 04:56 UT today(10/23). A single sunspot is
visible close to the equator on the East limb. However, the flare
activities are coming from a plage region located at the North of
the sunspot, which is likely to be the remnant of NOAA 14236 that
had grown to over 300 millionths in early October.
The target region, centered at NOAA 14262 has been flare-quiet
since the last message. Today, we will switch the target to the
plage region (unnumbered) from the Northeast limb, considering the
frequent flare history in the past 24 hours. Additional C class
events are expected.
The position of the target on 23-October-2025 at 15:30 UT is:

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a low-to-moderate level since the
last message. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C4.7
flare at 01:07 UT today(10/22) from around the target region,
NOAA 14262. A number of flare activities are occurring in the region
including NOAA regions 14257, 14262 and 14259.
In the recent 12 hours, 4 low-to-mid C class flares are reported
from behind the East limb, but the sunspot responsible for these
events is not visible from us yet.
In the next 24 hours, we will continue to observe the most active
area on the disk, the region centered at NOAA 14262.
The position of the target in NOAA 14262 on 22-October-2025 at
15:30 UT is: S12E12 (-205", -299").

Solar activity has declined to a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C3.7 flare at 6:36 UT
today(10/21) from behind the Northeast limb. Yesterday's target,
NOAA 14248 on the West limb produced 3 low-C class flares but the
loop system is going out of our view today.
There were a few low-C class activities from the Southeast
quadrant of the solar disk. NOAA 14257 had two leading (negative
polarity) sunspots about 50 arcsec apart in North-South direction.
Today the Southern spot was given a new number as NOAA 14262, and
this region appears to be involved in the low-C class events at
15:14 UT and 23:33 UT on 10/20. Today, we will observe this region,
NOAA 14262 as the default target, expecting additional C class events.

15:00 UT is: S13E26 (-421", -295").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level since the last
message. The main source of activity was over the Northwestern limb,
having produced 2 M class flares in the past 24 hours; an M1.8 at
20:03 UT yesterday(10/19) from NOAA 14246 and an M1.1 at 05:10 UT
today from the target region, NOAA 14248. An unnumbered region from
the Eastern limb produced a C3.0 flare at 22:44 UT yesterday, but
it has kept quiet since then.
While the high loop system of NOAA 14246 has almost disappeared
from our view from the Earth, that of NOAA 14248 being right on the
limb is showing some dynamism. Today, we will continue to observe
NOAA 14248, at its loop system over the West limb while it rotates
behind the limb. A few C class activities are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14248 on 20-October-2025 at
15:30 UT is: N05W85 (956", 82").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. The largest event since the last message
was an M1.0 flare at 01:46 UT today, produced by yesterday's target
region, NOAA 14246. This region also produced more than ten C-class
flares during the period and has almost passed beyond the west limb.
Today, the target shifts to NOAA 14248 (N07W73) given its recent flare
history. Further C-class activity is expected, with a slight chance of a
low
M-class flare in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level since the last message.
NOAA 14246 (N24W88) remains the most flare-productive region during
the period, producing several C-class flares and 10 ~M1 flares, including
the largest event, an M1.5 at 10:37 UT today. NOAA 14246 will remain
the target region until it fully rotates beyond the west limb. Note that
NOAA
14256 (S15E45, beta/C-type) also produced two ~M1 flares in the period.
C-class activity is expected, with a chance of additional low M-class
events
in the next 24 hours.

14246 (N24W76) remains the most flare-productive region on the
visible disk, producing more than 20 C-class and six low M-class
flares during the period, including the largest event, an M1.5 at 01:15
UT today. We are ending the Major Flare Watch but will continue to
monitor NOAA 14246 as the target region. Additional C-class activity
is expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance of low M-class events.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased slightly since the last message. NOAA
14246 (N22W63) remains in a beta-gamma-delta configuration and
is still the most flare-productive region on the visible disk. It produced
a number of C-class flares and four low-M-class flares during the
period, including the largest event, an M2.7 at 21:55 UT yesterday
(see the SSW Latest Events entry

We are maintaining the Major
Flare Watch on 14246 for another 24 hours. Additional C-class and
low-M-class activity is expected, with a chance of a major flare (≥M5)
in the next 24 hours.
