Dear Collaborators,
The Solar activity continued to be at a moderate level since the last
message. The largest event in the last 24 hours was an M1.5 flare at
10:04 UT today(4/15) from a region behind the Northeast limb.
The target region NOAA 14055 produced more than 10 low-to-mid C
class flares and completed the limb passage yesterday. At this time
we will close the Major Flare Watch campaign on NOAA 14055.
The region produced an M1.5 flare is still behind the limb but showing
rapid intensity fluctuations in EUV wavelengths, observed as a few
low-C class flares after the M1.5 event. Today we will observe the
Northeast limb over this unnumbered region as the default target.
Additional C class flares are expected with a chance of another
M class event.
The position of the Northeast limb region on 15-April-2025 at
16:00 UT is: N09E88 (-943", 157").

Solar activity has been at a moderate level since the last message.
The target region NOAA 14055 produced 5 M-class flares during the
past 24 hours with the largest being an M4.2 event at 6:36 UT today
(4/14). While it is undergoing limb passage today, NOAA 14055 is the
only region on the disk producing flares above C class.
We will continue to observe NOAA 14055 as the Major Flare Watch
target for another 24 hours. Additional M class flares are expected
over the West limb, with a chance of an event larger than M5.
The position of the target in NOAA 14055 on 14-April-2025 at
15:30 UT is: N09W84 (939", 159").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a moderate-to-high level since the
last message. Target NOAA 14055 retains its beta-gamma-delta
configuration and was the most flare-productive region on the disk,
producing 15 low M-class flares and a number of C-class flares
during the period, including the largest—an M2.7 at 11:35 UT
yesterday. At this point, we are initiating a Major Flare Watch on
NOAA 14055. Further low M-class flares are expected within the
next 24 hours, with a chance of an isolated >M5 flare.

The target NOAA 14055 (N06W55) produced two ~M1 flares and
over ten C-class flares during the period, including the largest one
—an M1.1 at 16:40 UT yesterday. NOAA 14055 has developed into
a beta-gamma-delta configuration with increases in both spot area
and number. We shall continue to observe NOAA 14055 due to its
magnetic complexity and ongoing flux emergence. Further C-class
activity is expected, with a chance of additional low M-class flares
within the next 24 hours.

The largest event in the period was a C4.4 flare at 07:03 UT
today from the target region NOAA 14055 (N08W43). This
region retains a beta-gamma configuration and produced
another two C-class flares in the period. NOAA 14055 is
undergoing significant magnetic flux emergence and shall
remain the target region. Further C‑class activity is expected,
with a good chance of low M‑class flares in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level since the last message.
Yesterday’s target region, NOAA 14048 (S16W74), currently approaching
the southwest limb, was flare‑quiet during that period. NOAA 14055
(N08W29) produced four C-class flares in the period, including the largest
—a C9.0 flare at 17:22 UT yesterday. This region has developed into a
beta‑gamma configuration with increases in both its spot area and number.
Today, the target shall switch to NOAA 14055 due to its continued flux
emergence. Furthermore, the northeast limb region (N05E75), mentioned
in yesterday’s message, produced three C‑class flares, the largest being
a C5.3 at 07:41 UT today. Further C‑class activity is expected, with a
chance
of low M‑class flares in the next 24 hours.

The target region NOAA 14048 (beta-gamma/F-type) remained
the most flare-productive region on the disk, producing eight
low C-class flares and the largest magnitude event in the period
—an M1.6 flare at 22:08 UT yesterday. Today, NOAA 14048
shall remain the target region despite showing signs of decay.
Additionally, NOAA 14055 (N08W14, beta/C-type) and a northeast
limb region (N08E88) produced several low C-class flares during
the period. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of
additional low M-class flares within the following 24-48 hours.

yesterday from the target region NOAA 14048 (S16W44, beta-
gamma/F-type). 14048 was the most flare-productive region
on the disk and the source of five additional low C-class flares.
NOAA 14048 shall remain the target. Please note that a newly
emerged region NOAA 14057 (N07E50, alpha/A-type) also
produced a C3.0 flare today. Further C‑class activity is expected
with a chance of low M‑class flares in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has slightly decreased since the last message. The largest
event was a C3.0 flare at 15:46 UT yesterday, attributed to NOAA 14045
(S13W64, beta/B-type). However, an occulted flare from the limb region
NOAA 14043 also contributed to the soft X‑ray flux. The target region
NOAA 14048 (S16W32) produced three low C‑class flares in the period,
the largest being a C2.7 at 06:41 UT today. NOAA 14048 retains a beta‑
gamma configuration, with magnetic flux emergence in its trailing portion.
Today, NOAA 14048 remains the target. Additionally, NOAA 14054
(S12W07), mentioned in yesterday's message, produced a C2.0 flare
during the period. This region has developed into a beta‑gamma
configuration and is undergoing significant magnetic flux emergence
in its intermediate portion. Further C‑class activity is expected, with
the possibility of low M‑class flares in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level since the last
message. The largest event during this period was an M1.0 flare
at 19:54 UT yesterday, attributed to target NOAA 14048 (S16W19).
However, a flare from NOAA 14046 (N06W39, alpha/H-type) also
contributed to the soft X-ray flux. 14048 retains a beta-gamma
configuration and produced four additional low C-class flares in
the period. Today, the target will remain with this region. NOAA
14043 has almost rotated beyond the west limb and produced
two C-class flares in the period, the largest being a C4.7. Please
note that a newly emerged region, NOAA 14054 (S13E06, beta/
C-type), is undergoing significant magnetic flux emergence.
Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of additional
low M-class flares in the following 24 hours.
