Solar activity has remained at a low level since the last message.
There were six low-C and high-B flares produced by the target
region NOAA 14191, including the largest magnitude being a
C2.3 flare at 15:46 UT yesterday. 14191 was still classified as
an alpha/H-type sunspot group. However, following 14191, an
unnumbered region, composed of several pores, has also
rotated into view. This region may be the trailing portion of
14191. Additional low-C flares are expected in the coming 24
hours.

Solar activity has continued at a low level in the past 24 hours.
The target region produced the largest event, a C3.3 at 23:54
UT yesterday. This region was numbered as NOAA 14191, as
it rotated completely onto the disk. 14191 exhibited a sunspot
with a well-developed penumbra followed by a small pore, and
was classified as an alpha/H-type magnetic configuration. Today,
the default target should remain with NOAA 14191. More low-C
flares are expected in the following 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has dropped to a ~C2 level since the last message. The
largest event was a partially occulted C2.9 flare at 09:24 UT today from
an unnumbered region near the northeast limb (N09E89). This region
also produced a C2.3 flare at 09:52 UT today. Its leading portion, which
appears to show a high spot maturity, has already been partially visible.
Today, the target shall switch to this limb region from NOAA 14188.
14188 (Yesterday’s target) has been flare-quiet during this period. Note
that a plage region (N13E26) also produced a C2.5 flare at 02:18 UT
today. Additional C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has reached a moderate level due to an eruptive
M1.1 flare at 03:51 UT today from NOAA 14188. This region
has also produced two flares (a C2.2 and a B9.2) since the
last message. It was classified as an alpha/H-type sunspot
group as it transited onto the disk. Today the target shall switch
to NOAA 14188 from NOAA 14180. Yesterday’s target, NOAA
14180, merely produced a C1.2 flare at 03:40 UT today. Further
C-class activity is expected within the coming 24 hours.

Solar activity has remained stable over the past 24 hours.
The largest event since the last message was a C3.3 flare
at 19:48 UT yesterday from NOAA 14180. This region has
been classified as a beta/C-type magnetic configuration with
the emergence of new negative magnetic fluxes in its leading
portion in the period. Today, NOAA 14180 should become the
new default target. Yesterday’s target NOAA 14172 has almost
rotated out of Earth-view, producing only three ~C1 flares. More
C-class activity is expected in the following 24 hours.

The largest event during the period was a C3.6 flare at 04:51
UT today from the target region NOAA 14172 (N08W91), which
also produced over ten additional low C-class flares in the
period. NOAA 14172 shall remain the target region today before
it rotates over the west limb. Further C-class activity is expected
within the next 24 hours.

message was a C7.7 flare at 21:11 UT yesterday from NOAA 14172
(N09W80), which also produced additional low C-class and high B-class
flares during its approach to the northwest limb. NOAA 14172 is
undergoing significant flux emergence in its trailing portion and will
remain the target region today, with further C-class activity likely and
a slight chance of a low M-class flare within the next 24 hours.

likely and a slight chance of a low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has further decreased since the last message.
The largest event in the period was an occulted C4.4 flare at
19:14 UT yesterday, produced by NOAA 14174 (now beyond
the southwest limb; see the SSW Latest Events entry
<https://www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/latest_events/#Eruptive_C4.3_behind_South_W…>).
The
target region, NOAA 14172 (N11W52, beta-gamma/E-type),
and NOAA 14178 (N09W83, beta-gamma/D-type) also
produced several low C-class flares during the period,
including a C4.1 flare that occurred in the decay phase of
the C4.4 flare from 14172. NOAA 14172 shall remain the
target region today. Additional C-class activity is expected
in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has slightly decreased since the last message. The largest
event during the period was a C8.4 flare at 18:09 UT yesterday, attributed
to NOAA 14178 (N09W70, beta-gamma/D-type). Two flares from the target
region NOAA 14172 (N08W39, beta-gamma/E-type) and NOAA 14168
(now beyond the northwest limb) also contributed to the soft X-ray flux.
NOAA 14172 and NOAA 14178 also produced several low C-class flares
during the period. Today, NOAA 14172 shall remain the target region due to
its ongoing flux emergence. Further C-class activity is expected, with a
slight
chance of a low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
