Solar activity has slightly diminished since the last message. A small
number of C-class flares were produced from NOAA 13484, the largest
being a C2.2 at 01:40 UT today. NOAA 13477 has continued to decay
since the last message as it begins to transit the southwest limb, and
has not produced any further activity. NOAA 13483 has retained its
beta-gamma classification and appears to have continued to increase in
area as it approaches the northwest limb. NOAA 13483 will continue to
be the target region for a further 24 hours, with a slight chance of
>= C-class activity.

Solar activity has reached a moderate level since the last message.
NOAA 13477 produced an M1.2 at 17:01 UT yesterday, as well as several
C-class flares as it approaches the southwest limb. However, NOAA
13477 appears to be decaying, reducing in both area and sunspot
number. Several C-class flares were produced from NOAA 13483 and NOAA
13484 since the last message. NOAA 13483 has continued to increase in
area and complexity, and is now classified as a beta-gamma type
region. NOAA 13483 will continue as the target region for a further 24
hours, with a chance of further C-class activity.

NOAA 13477 and NOAA 13483 produced several C-class flares, the largest
being a C7.2 at 03:51 UT today from NOAA 13483. NOAA 13483 remains a
beta-type region but has continued to increase in area over the last
24 hours, developing a substantial leading sunspot. NOAA 13483 will
continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours, with chances
of further C-class flares likely.

solar disk. NOAA 13483 has reduced in complexity since the last
message and is now classified as a beta-type region. However, NOAA
13483 has continued to increase in both area and sunspot number. NOAA
13483 will continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours,
with a chance for isolated C-class flares.

NOAA 13480 has remained quiescent since the last message, reducing in
both area and complexity, and is now classified as a beta-type region.
However, several C-class flares were produced from newly emerged
active region NOAA 13483 close to disk centre, the largest being a
C6.9 at 08:39 UT today. NOAA 13483 is currently classified a beta-type
region and will be the new target region. Further C-class flares
likely over the next 24 hours.

C-class events were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being
a C1.9 from target region NOAA 13480 at 05:38 UT today. The target
region appears to have developed additional complexity since the last
message and is now classified as a beta-gamma type sunspot group.
However, the sunspot area appears reduced. Subsequently, NOAA 13480
will continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours with a
chance for isolated C-class flares.

several C-class flares, the largest event being an M1.8 at 11:34 UT
yesterday. Multiple C-class flares were also observed from NOAA 13472
as it transits the northwest limb. NOAA 13480 retains its beta-type
configuration and will continue to be the target region for a further
24 hours. Continued C-class activity is likely with slight chance for
an isolated M-class flare.

Solar activity continues at low levels. Yesterday’s target NOAA
13472 (N21W82, beta/C-type) only produced a C1.8 at 13:46
UT on 4-Nov-2023 in the period. However, there were still a few
C1 flares from another region NOAA 13480, including a ~C1.3
flare at ~07:40 UT today, associated with a filament eruption and
a CME. This region retains a beta/D-type sunspot group, with an
increase in spot area. Today the target shall switch back to NOAA
13480. Additional C-class flares are expected in the following 24
hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at moderate-to-low levels. Yesterday’s
target region was now numbered as NOAA 13480 (S11E57,
beta/D-type) and only produced a C3.5 flare at 22:28 UT on
3-Nov-2023, with signs of decay. NOAA 13472 became the
most productive region and was the source of several low-C
flares including their largest one in the period - a C2.1 at 08:07
UT today. 13472 was downgraded to a beta/C-type magnetic
configuration but experienced the emergence of new magnetic
fluxes. Today the target should switch to NOAA 13472. Further
C-class flares are expected in the following 24-hour period.
