Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a moderate level since the last message,
with an increasing trend in the recent 12 hours. The largest event
in the past 24 hours was an M1.4 flare at 15:11 UT today (11/3) from
the Northern portion of NOAA 13869 but the intensity has a contribution
from the C8.2 flare from NOAA 13883 occurred right before(14:27 UT).
The target region NOAA 13878 produced an M1.2 flare at 8:39 UT
today in addition to two mid-C class flares. The positive polarity patch
located at the Northeast of the trailing spot, formed a separate sunspot
after the M1.2 flare. However, this region forms clear sigmoidal loop
structures observed in the EUV high temperature range and soft X-ray
wavelengths. We will continue the Major Flare Watch with NOAA 13878
for another 24 hours. We will observe the center of the sigmoid, the
Southwest side of the trailing spot, expecting another low M-class event
or larger.

Solar activity has declined to a moderate level since the last message.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a M1.2 flare at 8:13 UT
today (11/2) from the region emerged at the South of NOAA 13876 a few
days ago. It is uncertain if this region will be given a new number or
a part of NOAA 13876.
From the target region, NOAA 13878, only a C5.3 flare at 12:18 UT on
11/2 was reported. The positive polarity located at the Southwest side
of the negative trailing spot is moving farther to the Southwest
direction and about to form a separate positive sunspot. However,
another patch of positive polarity located at the Northeast side of the
trailing spot has formed an umbra and maintains the delta configuration.
We will continue the Major Flare Watch with NOAA 13878 for another
24 hours observing the delta configuration on the Northeast side.
Additional C class flares are expected with a slight chance of a major
flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been high since the last message. The target region,
NOAA 13878 produced 3 major flares in a row (M4.6 at 21:03 UT,
X2.2 at 21:12 UT and M9.5 at 21:45 UT) yesterday(10/31) and additional
2 low-M class flares (M1.3 at 2:05 UT and M2.0 at 14:18 UT) today.
NOAA 13876 approaching the Western limb was another source of flare
activity with 4 low-M class events.
In the next 24 hours, we continue to observe NOAA 13878 as the target
of the Major Flare Watch campaign. The positive magnetic component
in the negative trailing spot has shifted to the Southwest side and
appears to be splitting into a separate spot. We will observe this area
of delta configuration for the next 24 hours. Additional M class flares
or larger are expected.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has significantly increased since the M7.2 event
yesterday(10/30). After this event, NOAA 13878 produced 3 low-M
class (M1.0 at 2:16 UT, another M1.0 at 3:23 UT and M1.4 at 9:22 UT
all on 10/31) as well as a few high-C class flares. Other notable events
are an M2.4 flare from NOAA 13875 at 12:41 UT and an M1.2 flare
from NOAA 13876 at 13:46 UT today.
We will continue to observe NOAA 13878 as the target of the Major
Flare Watch campaign. The magnetic configuration of this region was
updated to a beta-gamma-delta type. We will observe the area of delta
configuration (west side of the trailing sunspot) for the next 24 to 48
hours, expecting additional M class flares and larger.

At this time, we will implement the Major Flare Watch campaign with
NOAA 13878. We will observe the small positive polarity area located
in the west side of the trailing (negative polarity) sunspot.

Solar activity has declined to a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was an M1.1 flare at 16:21 UT on
10/29 from NOAA 13873. The target region NOAA 13878 has got quiet
down since yesterday with no flare activity reported in the past 24 hours.
NOAA 13876 located in the Southwest quadrant has undergone new flux
emergence at the location of its trailing sunspots, and so far produced 3
C class flares with the largest being a C7.1 flare at 9:10 UT today(10/30).
The newly appeared sunspots increases magnetic complexity of this
region to be classified as a beta-gamma-delta type. We will switch the
default target to NOAA 13876, and observe the area of newly appeared
sunspots for the next 24 hours. Additional C class to low-M class flares
are expected.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a moderate level since the last message.
The target region NOAA 13878 continues to be the main source of
the flare activity in the past 24 hours. NOAA 13878, being classified
as a beta-gamma type (E-type), produced an M4.2 flare at 16:13 UT
on 10/28 and more than 10 mid-to-high C class flares from its trailing
sunspot.
It is worthy to note that currently there are 3 active regions (NOAA
13869, 13872 and 13874) classified as a beta-gamma-delta type, but
they have not been showing much activity compared to NOAA 13878
in the past 24 hours. We will continue to observe the trailing spot of
NOAA 13878 for the next 24 hours, expecting additional C class events
and larger.

Solar activity has maintained a moderate level since the last message.
The target region NOAA 13873 reduced both in size and magnetic
complexity. Only flare event reported from the active region group
(consisting of NOAA 13869, 13872 and 13873) in the past 24 hours was
a C3.8 at 6:11 UT today (10/28) from NOAA 13869. At this time, we will
end the Major Flare Watch campaign with this active region group.
The major source of flare activity was from the Northeast limb region,
now designated as NOAA 13878, which produced 3 M class flares on 10/26.
This region produced another 2 M class flares (M2.9 at 23:05 UT on
10/27 and M1.3 at 3:59 UT on 10/28) as well as several mid-to-high C
class flares during the past 24 hours from its following (negative
polarity) sunspot. We will observe the following sunspot of NOAA 13878
as a default target for the next 24 hours. Additional C to M class events are
expected, with a slight chance of a major (>M5) flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a moderate level since the X1.9 event
yesterday from NOAA 13873. The largest event in the past 24 hours was
an M2.9 flare at 11:57 UT yesterday (10/26) from an unnumbered region
on the Northeast limb. This region produced two more M class flares and
a few high-C class flares during the long decay phase of the X flare.
The target region, NOAA 13873 only produced a high C class flare at
18:04 UT on 10/26, but increased magnetic complexity to a beta-gamma
type. We will continue the Major Flare Watch campaign for another 24
hours with NOAA 138773, in the Southeast area of mixed polarities.
An isolated M class flare or larger is expected.

15:30 UT is: S12E41 (-629",-259").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a high level since the last message.
NOAA 13873 located at the Eastern most of the active region group
(made of NOAAs 13869, 13872 and 13873) produced an X1.9 flare at
06:32 UT today(10/26) following an M9.5 event at 05:58 UT associated
with a filament eruption from the South side of this region.
NOAA 13863 is the smallest (120 millionths) and classified as a beta
type, but has repeated eruptions observed in EUV wavelengths during
the past 24 hours. We will continue the Major Flare Watch campaign
with the target shifted to the South side of NOAA 13873. Additional
M class flares or larger are expected in the next 24-48 hours.

15:30 UT is: S12E54 (-771",-253").
