The level of solar activity remains very low. NOAA region 11450 has
slowed in its evolution, but continues to develop more mature spots
between the leading and trailing spots. This region has maintained
a beta/D-type sunspot group classification and was the source of a
C1.2 flare on 4-Apr-2012 at 16:17 UT. B-class activity is expected,
with a chance for further C-class events in the next 24 hours.

continued
to grow slightly in spot area and number of spots. This region has
maintained
a beta magnetic configuration but increased in D-type sunspot group
complexity
by developing spots between the primary leading and trailing spots. NOAA
11450
was the source of 5 B-class events since the last message, the largest
being a
B7.1 flare on 4-Apr-2012 at 05:29 UT. Further B-class events are likely in
the
next 24 hours, with a chance for a C-class event.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. Two new bipolar regions have
appeared on
disk, while today's target will be NOAA 11450. This region has experienced
some
growth in spot area and number of spots and produced a B4.9 flare on
2-Apr-2012
at 21:53 UT. NOAA 11450 has a well-developed, compact bright EUV loop
structure
and an extensive region of bright plage between the leading and trailing
spots.
Further B-class events are possible, with a chance for a C-class event.
The position of NOAA 11450 on 3-Apr-2012 at 09:30 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues very low. The large dark
NE-SW filament located along the region's main magnetic
inversion line has become activated especially in the
southwestern portion. Increased internal motion could
trigger a flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
No noteworthy solar flare activity in the past 24 hour period.
Old NOAA 1429, now renamed NOAA 1451, is a region in
decay phase with a small reversed polarity B-type/beta
sunspot group. There are a few bright points adjacent to
the region's large NE-SW filament. No significant flare
activity expected in the next 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Old NOAA 1429 has returned to the visible solar disk displaying
a nearly spotless reversed polarity plage with a well developed
filament located on the region's magnetic inversion line. It was
the source of a few B-class events and a C-class event since the last
message. No significant flare activity expected in the next 24 hour
period.
The position of the target on March 31 at 7:30 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region, Old NOAA 1429, has appeared to have
returned to the visible disk significantly decayed
but it is still too close to the limb to thoroughly
ascertain its magnetic configuration and sunspot
group. The region was the source of numerous B-class
events and a C1.4 event at 03/29/16:40 UT. Additional
minor events expected with the chance of an isolated M-class
event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of the target on March 30 at 13:00 UT is:

The northeast limb target region (Old NOAA 1429) was the source of two
limb occulted C-class events in the past 24 hour period. The largest
was a C7.7 at 03/29/09:53 UT. Additional C-class events expected with
a good chance of an M-class event as well in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on March 29 at 13:30 UT is:

The target will switch from NOAA 1442 to the northeast limb.
Old flare productive NOAA 1429 should return to the visible disk
sometime during the next 24 hour period. The chance of
an M-class event in the next 24 hours is significantly greater.

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The target EFR, now re-numbered NOAA 1442, produced
C-class activity in the past 24 hours. The largest was a
C2.7 at 03/26/23:38 UT. The largest event of the period was a C5.3
at 03/27/03:08. Its source region was NOAA 1444 located
just north of 1442. Both regions are maintaining simple
beta magnetic configurations. No significant flare activity
expected from the visible disk regions in the next 24 hour period.
Old NOAA 1429 will return to the visible disk in the next few days.
It has continued to be very active during its far side transit.
The position of NOAA 1442 on March 27 at 13:00 UT is:
