Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at moderate levels.There have been 8 C-class
flares in the past 24 hours, the largest of which was an occulted C9 event.
These were all produced by the still-occulted AR on the east limb. Given
the magnitude of these events while behind the limb, it is extremely likely
that the true magnitudes of the largest flares should be in the M-class
division. This occulted source will continue to be today's target and
activity levels are expected to remain moderate to high, which the chance
of an M flare increasing as the region approaches the limb.

Solar activity is at a moderate level. NOAA 11417 has rotated onto the east
limb and is the return of former NOAA 11407. Active region 11416 has
undergone a period of rapid growth and is now classified as a beta-gamma
region. However, today's target will be the region about to rotate on the
NE limb. This is former NOAA 11401/11402 which produced multiple large
M-class flares during its last passage. This region has already produced at
least three C class flares, all of which are occulted. Therefore, it is
expected that activity will continue at the C class level and may even rise
to M class levels.

Solar activity is low today, with the majority of flares, mostly mid-sized
B class flares, being produced by NOAA 11416 in the southern hemisphere. In
addition, a highly occulted C1 event occurred on the west limb (NOAA
11415), along with a small B flare originating from the region rotating
onto the north-eastern limb. Given that NOAA 11416 is still in its growth
phase, and the umbral and penumbral regions are continuing to develop, this
region will remain today's target.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to low levels with the rotation of NOAA 11410
off the west limb. NOAA 11415 is a newly numbered region on the west limb
and was the source of two C class solar flares in the past 24 hours.
However, today's target will be an EFR that is emerging in the south
eastern hemisphere. This un-numbered, bipolar region currently consists of
two small sunspots followed by a fragmented, trailing spot. It has been the
source of a series of B and C class events. Further B and C class activity
may continue over the next 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 11410 will remain our target of opportunity as it passes around the
west limb. Although its longitude makes it difficult to chatacterize its
level of magnetic complexity (still listed as beta-gamma), it remains
bright in EUV. It produced a single C1.5 flare, which may have been be
footpoint occulted. The rotation of former NOAA 11407, followed by 11401
and 11402 can be expected in the coming days. However, 11410 will remain
today's target.

NOAA region 11410 has experienced further flux emergence in the past 24
hours by developing new spots between the leading and trailing portions,
with the trailing spots beginning to fragment. This region is classified
as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group, which has produced several C-class
flares and an M1.0 flare on 6-Feb-2012 at 19:31 UT. C-class activity is
probable, with a small chance for another low M-class event in the next
24 hours.

Solar activity remains at a very low level. NOAA region 11410 has
experienced significant flux emergence within its trailing plage,
resulting in the formation of several trailing spots. This region
is classed as a beta/C-type sunspot group and has been the source
of several B-class flares in the past 48 hours. C-class activity
is possible in the next 24 hours if 11410 undergoes further flux
emergence.

to be in decay phase, decreasing in spot area and number of spots. This

NOAA region 11413 appears to have stabilized in its evolution.
This region has produced a couple of B-class events since the
last message, the largest being a B8.9 flare on 2-Feb-2012 at
18:06 UT. C-class activity is possible.
