MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2900 continued in growth phase adding sunspot area especially within its trailing portion. The region's D-type/beta sunspot group has some weak mixed polarity. 2900 was the source of six B-class events since the last message. The largest was a B8.4 at 11/28/08:59 UT. NOAA 2898 (24W16) is now decaying within its intermediate and trailing areas. A- and B-class events expected with the chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hour period. Include NOAA 2898, if possible, within your FOV.
The position of NOAA 2900 on November 28 at 16:30 UT is: S27W33 (Solar X = 473", Solar Y = -457")
