Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a moderate level. The target region NOAA 13813 (S22E37) retains its beta-gamma configuration with a slight increase in both the sunspot area and the number of spots. The leading portion of this region shows mixed polarities and has produced five low-M-class flares in the period, the largest being an M3.3 on 3-Sep-2024 at 15:51 UT. The MM#003 Major Flare Watch continues with NOAA 13813 as the target, focusing on its leading spots. Further low-M-class activity is likely, with a chance of an isolated ≥M5 flare in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 13813 on 4-Sep-2024 at 11:30 UT is:
S22E37 (-532",-443")
