Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity has been at a moderate level. The target region NOAA 12403 was the source of two low M-class events (an M1.2 at 2015/08/21/01:56 UT and an M1.4 at 2015/08/21/09:34 UT) and a few C- and B-class flares in the past 24 hours. 12403 has increased its sunspot area and number of spots significantly, and is now designated as a beta-gamma/D-type configuration. It continues to show mixed polarities in its intermediate portion. Further C-class flares are expected with a chance of additional low M-class activity.
The position of NOAA 12403 on August 21 at 14:35 UT is:
S13E28 (Solar X = -435", Solar Y = -310")
